CTC helps skill Rockhampton youth

Our job-readiness program “Ready, Willing and Able” is designed to help young people enter the workforce for the first time, or provide that boost needed to re-enter the workforce after a break away.

This program is FREE.

Young people who DON’T qualify for Centrelink DO qualify for this assistance

We will be holding an information session at CTC on Tuesday 28 March at 10:00am.

Our course consists of classroom training and two weeks on-the-job work experience.

You will learn practical computer skills, safe work practices, the ins and outs of job applications and interviews, current workplace expectations from the employer’s perspective, and much more. Once you complete the training, we could have work available to the right person across many different roles!

Special guest speakers will share their stories and knowledge to inspire and empower you.

Ready for Work is one of six programs that form part of the Queensland Government’s Skilling Queenslanders for Work initiative.
