CTC Rocky River Run – What a day it was

rrr

At CTC we don’t just preach that we are socially responsible but we truly live it. CTC took charge of the CTC Rocky River Run for the first time this year and we made a decision that we would support our local business community. We cut out the use of overseas organisations to ensure that this event was truly an Australian hosted, organised, staged and sourced event for Central Queensland.

The economic value from the CTC Rocky River Run for this year is in the order of $315,000 to the Rockhampton and Central Queensland economy not including what was spent at accommodation, cafes, bars and restaurants and other businesses throughout the region.

Our local suppliers priced matched where possible and others that wanted to be involved with this iconic event came on board to supply goods and services free of charge. We sincerely thank them for their generosity and support as well as our fabulous sponsors. We cant put on events like the CTC Rocky River Run without our sponsors and supports so please go to the CTC Rocky River Run page and fully support the companies that have made the commitment to you and our community.

Thank you to our fantastic sponsors and the people that came to the CTC Rocky River Run, as it is only a success with all this involvement. We sometimes forget why we are doing this but it is with a cause in mind that drives us to succeed. This cause being to help youth issues such as youth suicide, employment, well being, and homelessness.

The CTC Rocky River Run will be back next year on the 28th of May.
